ROCK THE BLOCK

Celebrate the change of seasons with a neighborhood block party complete with DJ, entertainment, food, drink, festive crafts, bouncy house for the kids and more! Join us in the Movieworks Plaza parking lot Sunday, October 1st from 11:00am to 2:00pm for the first annual Rock the Block to benefit Rock On Society.

9:00am - 10:45am Kick off the day with an adorable benefit class

11:00am - 2:00pm Block Party Time! Enjoy community, camaraderie and connection as you cruise the back half of the Movieworks neighborhood and see the festive-fun we’ve collectively created!

  • VIM & ROCK ON SOCIETY whip up a smoothie on the Hoback Sports blender bike, crush a 30-second distance challenge on the Versaclimbers and Schwinn Z Bike, Taylor Swift Trivia, raffle and of course, prizes! In honor of the Taylor Swift Eras movie out Listen for Taylor wift Trivia throughout to win movie passes to Movieworks

  • MERIDIAN TRUST bring the kids to jump in the Bouncy House, play a round of cornhole and grab a glass of lemonade

  • GRAZE GARDEN & HOME Fall Wreath Making: Create a beautiful wreath for your front door, friend or a hostess gift ($40 per wreath, includes supplies, and a portion of cost will go to support Rock on Society). Come and shop heirloom pumpkins, stunning corn stalks, fall bulbs and Fall decor for your home.

  • SLOW FOOD IN THE TETONS is serving up baskets of local/regionally sourced apples in the Graze courtyard for people to grab and enjoy throughout the event and also learn more about their upcoming Farm to Fork Festival Oct 6-8th

  • SUNSHINE STATION Pumpkin decorating for the whole family $15 includes pumpkin and decor ($5 of each pumpkin benefits Rock On Society)

Kick off the first annual Rock the Block as Rock On Society & PAWS Present the most adorable, yet spooky edition of DURABILTY at VIM ever! This benefit class will include a collection of precious black kittens available for adoption through PAWS (currently 30) tiptoeing among your legs and arms (or napping on you) as you move.

Mats, mobility tools, and feel-good class provided by Rock On Society and VIM, while kittens are provided and available through PAWS (30 black kittens currently available).

Come for the class then stay for the first annual Rock the Block to benefit Rock On Society. Join a variety of neighborhood businesses unite for a cause to celebrate community. Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon from 11:00am-2:00pm with woodfired pizza, Snake River Brew, JH POP and loads of family-friendly fun!

DURABILITY Utilizes articulation, strength, flexibility, and balance to mitigate the risk of injury in this one-of-a-kind mobility class. We take a holistic approach to movement that nourishes the body in various ways alongside injury prevention techniques to make you more durable for life. Students will gain an understanding of how diverse movement patterns can promote optimal health and how to incorporate specific exercises that mitigate injury risk.⁣

ROCK ON SOCIETY MISSION is to provide aid for stroke and cardiac patients by creating a dynamic experience through community, camaraderie, and connection.

PAWS MISSION is to serve as a community resource to prevent pet homelessness, to protect pets from harm and suffering, and to promote responsible ownership.

Old Bill's 2023 giving season runs from August 11 – September 15 and Rock On Society is honored and privileged to be a part of our very first as a new nonprofit! Gifts of any and all sizes ROCK and can be made online through 9/15 or by mail via the Community Foundation’s Old Bill’s Fun Run mailer.  Your support enables our ongoing efforts to provide aid for stroke and cardiac patients of all ages by creating dynamic fitness experiences through community, camaraderie, and connection.

ROCK ON SOCIETY EVENT W/ SCHWINN MASTER TRAINER, ERIC THOMSON

Are you ready, Jackson? Rock the Ride is making a big comeback this March and things are just heating up!

Celebrate the creation of the new nonprofit, Rock On Society with this exclusive, donation-based class. Rock On Society's vision is to provide aid for stroke and cardiac patients through community, camaraderie, and connection. Kicking this off is the highly anticipated return of Rock the Ride 03.11.23.

Fuel the progress of Rock On Society with an epic master class this Sunday at 8:00 am. Join Schwinn Master Trainer and 2020 Rock the Ride Coach, Eric Thomson, and be the first to experience the new Schwinn Z Bike. Eric is also a Beachbody Super Trainer for BODi On Demand and resides at some of the hottest clubs in LA, and Phoenix while continuing to inspire the next generation of fitness pros as a Core Health & Fitness Master Trainer.
